The Senior Customer Success Engineer at Vercel will be responsible for resolving customer concerns, improving internal tooling, and engineering solutions to enhance the customer experience on the platform.
The role involves working closely with customers like Under Armour, eBay, The Washington Post, Johnson & Johnson, and Zapier to help them achieve their goals throughout the customer journey.
The position requires excellent communication skills, a background in frontend development, technical writing abilities, and a passion for problem-solving.
The Senior Customer Success Engineer will collaborate with various Vercel teams, specialize in specific product areas, and assist Customer Success Managers with Enterprise requests.
This role is remote and based on the US West Coast time zones (Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, and Hawaii).

Requirements:

The ideal candidate should have 3+ years of experience in a highly technical support role and possess frontend development experience with Next.js.
They must understand modern web architecture, frontend frameworks like React, cloud technologies, serverless computing, and DNS, and be able to explain these concepts clearly to others.
Experience with incident management, procedural communication, and working with a fully remote, globally distributed team is required.
Candidates should have a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences, be comfortable with weekend and on-call work, and be able to mentor team members.
Bonus skills include experience with backend runtime environments, CDNs, caching techniques, monorepos, complex CI/CD pipelines, and a preference for specific work schedules.
