SmartAsset is seeking a Senior Data Analyst to guide Marketing and Sales decisions through data analysis.
The role involves predicting revenue and margins and supporting the Sales team with what-if analyses.
This position is highly visible and crucial for driving data-informed decision-making across the organization.
Responsibilities include understanding changes impacting business revenue, providing actionable results, maintaining key performance reports and dashboards, detecting trends, and working closely with business partners to analyze solutions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Statistics, or a related quantitative field is required.
Candidates should have 5-8 years of business-focused analysis experience in a Data Analyst or Business Intelligence role.
Strong skills in SQL, Python, and Excel are necessary, along with experience in statistical analysis.
Experience in developing and maintaining reports in Tableau or other data visualization tools is required.
Familiarity with tracking and analytics tools such as Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Mixpanel, and Optimizely is essential.
Candidates must be comfortable with large data sets and have an interest in building data models for consumer behavior and business metrics.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills are required.
Effective communication skills to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences are necessary.
The ideal candidate should be a highly motivated self-starter capable of working efficiently with minimal supervision.
A knowledge of and curiosity to stay current on industry analytical trends is preferred.
