The Senior Data Engineer will work on building next-generation industrial data platforms and applications across various industries, including Oil & Gas, Manufacturing, and Power & Utility.

Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of scalable data engineering solutions, managing integrations and data modeling, conducting code reviews, and supporting customers in data engineering tasks.

Requirements:

A Bachelor or Master degree in computer science or a related field is required, though relevant experience can substitute for formal education.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in a customer-facing data-intensive role is necessary.
Candidates must have exposure to and experience in the heavy asset industry, particularly in Oil & Gas, petrochemicals, or energy.
Experience in delivering production-grade data pipelines using Python, SQL, and Rest APIs is essential.
Familiarity with distributed computing, such as Kubernetes, and managed cloud services like GCP and/or Azure is required.
A DevOps mindset with experience in Git, CI/CD, and deployment environments is expected.
Candidates should enjoy working in cross-functional teams and be able to independently investigate and solve problems.
Humility to ask for help and a willingness to share knowledge with others is important.
