Description:

Vettura is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to build and scale robust data pipelines and connectors for large-scale data ingestion.
The role requires a full-stack data engineer who is comfortable working with both backend APIs and modern data tools.
The candidate will be responsible for designing and developing scalable ETL pipelines and connectors for real-time and batch data ingestion.
The position involves integrating with internal and third-party APIs to ensure secure and reliable data flow.
Collaboration with teams to architect high-performance data systems using tools like Yugabyte, Opensearch, and Redis is essential.
The engineer will implement authentication and authorization using OAuth, JWT, and Keycloak.
The role includes using orchestration tools like Argo or Temporal to automate data workflows.
Development and maintenance of backend services using Node.js, TypeScript, and Python are required.
Ensuring data security, compliance, and accessibility at all stages is a key responsibility.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3–6 years of experience in backend or data engineering roles.
Strong expertise in API integrations and ETL systems is required.
Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and Python is necessary.
Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native databases such as Yugabyte, Opensearch, and Redis is essential.
Familiarity with modern orchestration and identity tools like Argo/Temporal and Keycloak is required.
Knowledge of GraphQL, OAuth 2.0, and JWT for data access control is necessary.
Experience in regulated environments like healthcare or finance is a bonus.
