Cherre is seeking an experienced Senior Data Observability Specialist to lead observability initiatives.
The successful candidate will enhance data observability capabilities and ensure high standards of data health and performance for clients.
Responsibilities include developing and overseeing advanced data observability frameworks for comprehensive monitoring and analysis of data systems.
The role involves mentoring data engineering teams in adopting and integrating observability practices.
The candidate will create sophisticated metrics and dashboards to monitor and report on data system performance, reliability, and integrity.
Leading investigations into data incidents and providing expert analysis and recommendations for systemic improvements is essential.
The role requires engaging with key clients to assess their data needs and designing customized observability strategies that align with their business objectives.
The candidate will champion the adoption of new observability technologies and methodologies, setting the standard for industry best practices.
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required, with a preference for additional certifications in data management.
At least 7 years of experience in a data observability leadership role is necessary, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
Expert knowledge of data pipeline architectures, data warehousing, big data technologies, and cloud services is required.
Mastery of observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk is essential, with the ability to customize and extend their functionality.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering actionable insights, are required.
Excellent leadership and communication skills are necessary, capable of inspiring teams and engaging with senior stakeholders.
