Description:

The Senior DevOps Engineer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing infrastructure using Ansible playbooks to ensure consistency, scalability, and security.
They will develop, deploy, and maintain web applications and systems using PHP and Python to ensure high performance and reliability.
The role involves designing, building, and maintaining RESTful APIs to support application integration securely and at scale.
The engineer will implement and manage the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for system monitoring, issue troubleshooting, and efficiency optimization.
They will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery and enable rapid deployment of updates.
Collaboration with software engineers, QA teams, and stakeholders is essential for smooth integration and deployment of new features.
Ensuring security best practices, conducting automated security scans, vulnerability assessments, and compliance checks are part of the responsibilities.
Comprehensive documentation maintenance for all developed systems, applications, and processes is required for knowledge sharing and onboarding.

Requirements:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will be considered.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps, system engineering, and software development.

Technical Skills:

Extensive experience in PHP and Python for web application development and automation.
Proficiency in creating and managing Ansible playbooks for configuration management and automation.
Deep understanding of the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) for monitoring, logging, and data analysis.
Strong experience in developing and consuming RESTful APIs.
Familiarity with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar).
Proficient in version control systems, particularly Git.
Solid understanding of Linux/Unix operating systems and shell scripting.
Experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes is a plus.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation) is an advantage.
