We are a remote startup headquartered in Canada, building a smart, curious, and driven team to create software that helps sales reps sell better.
Prospect is a lead generation app that provides real-time contact data directly in the browser.
The best sales teams from top tech companies worldwide utilize Prospect to achieve their sales targets.
You will be the 16th member of our team, which currently consists of 15 people.
Your role involves building efficient and reliable infrastructure, focusing on both functionality and scalability for future growth.
You will prioritize continuous delivery, recognizing that resilient infrastructure requires ongoing and iterative improvements.
Clear communication is essential, and you will excel at documentation and thoughtful updates for our distributed team.
You should be proactive and resourceful, independently addressing challenges to enhance reliability and efficiency.
Your focus will be on both system and user needs, understanding that every improvement affects team efficiency and user experience.
You will manage our cloud services and infrastructure, taking real ownership and implementing best practices for a scalable and resilient setup.
Projects will include improving monitoring, modernizing infrastructure, and applying proactive improvements based on customer needs and the internal roadmap.

Requirements:

You must have expertise in AWS, including setup and troubleshooting, while adhering to the Well-Architected Framework for performance, security, and cost-efficiency.
Strong communication skills in a remote setting are essential.
You should have at least 5 years of experience in AWS, infrastructure, and system administration.
Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is required for consistent and scalable infrastructure management.
Experience in building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines for automated deployments is necessary.

This is a 100% remote role and is offered as a part-time contractor position.
There are no fixed hours for this position, but some overlap with EST is expected for project planning and emergency fixes.
We are looking for a long-term collaboration to handle regular maintenance, upgrades, and improvements to our infrastructure.
