Description:

  • The Engineering team is involved in the development of the advertising platform, producing production-level code that impacts product success.
  • The Marketing Automation Team is responsible for building new marketing automation capabilities, including campaign editors, email automation services, audiences, and reporting.
  • This position is remote and open to candidates located anywhere in North America.
  • The role involves significant individual contribution, mentoring the team, advising on technical approaches, planning scalable web APIs, collaborating with stakeholders, and conducting technical interviews.

Requirements:

  • Candidates must have 5+ years of experience building highly performant web applications with outstanding UX.
  • Knowledge of full-stack technologies including React, Javascript/Typescript, GraphQL, Ruby on Rails, and AWS is required.
  • Prior experience in email marketing automation or ad tech is considered an asset.
  • Extensive experience in writing code with unit tests and end-to-end tests is necessary.
  • Experience collaborating closely with Product & Design to design, implement, and iterate on high-impact end-to-end product experiences is essential.
  • Candidates should have experience working with relational databases and key-value stores.
  • Experience in analyzing, benchmarking, and optimizing web application performance across the entire stack is required.
  • An appetite for unpacking complexity and simplifying it wherever possible is expected.
