Description:

The company is seeking a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to build products quickly and strategically while maintaining high code quality and standards.
The role involves working closely with the Head of Engineering and collaborating with design, product, content, and support teams to enhance user experience.
The engineering team is responsible for building, scaling, and improving customer experience and in-house tooling from end to end.
The ideal candidate should be eager to learn, willing to experiment, and excited to empower teammates and customers.
The position is fully remote, with a preference for candidates who have significant overlap with Pacific Time Zone working hours.
Responsibilities include building and improving products, creating engaging interfaces and APIs, contributing high-quality code, collaborating with various teams, managing problems end to end, and mentoring newer team members.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience as a software engineer, with startup experience being a significant plus.
A generalist approach is required, with the ability to work on frontend, backend, infrastructure, data pipelines, or billing pipelines as needed.
Hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, JavaScript, PostgreSQL, Redis, HTML, and CSS is essential, along with a willingness to adopt new tools.
Candidates should thrive in collaborative environments involving different functions and stakeholders.
A methodical approach to delivering projects from ideation to completion is necessary.
Candidates should be motivated by making an impact and have a history of executing in fast-paced environments.

The target salary band for US-based candidates is $145,000 - $185,000 per year, plus equity, with salary decisions based on various factors.
