Cordial is seeking a dynamic, self-driven Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to join their high-performing team.
The ideal candidate should have a "bias to action" attitude and a "can-do" mentality, consistently delivering innovative solutions to complex problems.
Responsibilities include developing and maintaining scalable, efficient, and robust code for both frontend and backend systems.
The engineer will proactively identify and solve problems, continuously improving the codebase and processes.
Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, requiring clear communication of complex technical concepts.
The role involves designing and implementing highly scalable systems using technologies like Kafka, Kinesis, or RedPanda.
Writing clean, well-tested code that adheres to software engineering principles and best practices is a key responsibility.
The engineer will contribute to core architecture, system design, and technology decisions to optimize front-end development and support large-scale applications.
Building modular and reusable components and features, as well as designing front-end code for optimal performance, is expected.
The position requires working with a diverse, distributed team of front-end and back-end engineers and attending daily standups scheduled for joint US/European meeting times.
Participation in peer code reviews and promoting a culture of excellence in software engineering is also part of the role.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 4+ years of professional software engineering experience.
Strong proficiency in at least one backend technology such as PHP/Laravel, Python, Java, or Go is required.
Experience with frontend technologies, particularly React or Vue.js, is necessary.
A solid understanding of software engineering principles, including S.O.L.I.D., is expected.
Experience with system design for highly scalable applications is essential.
A proven track record of delivering high-quality, well-tested code is required.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to self-unblock when facing challenges are necessary.
Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for this role.
Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure is required.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices is necessary.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB is expected.

The position is remote, based in Brazil.
The annual salary ranges from $70,000.00 to $90,000.00 USD.
