Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and results-focused Senior Java and Cloud Developer to join our team.
The position offers the flexibility to work from our offices in Athens, Thessaloniki, or Crete, or to work fully remotely.
Responsibilities include designing, developing, testing, and supporting complex Java web-based applications.
The role involves refactoring existing applications to utilize cloud microservices technologies.
Collaboration with colleagues is essential, including participation in team organization and contributing to continuous improvement.
Adherence to high professional standards is required to ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or a relevant field is required.
Candidates must have 3+ years of professional experience in the Software field.
Good knowledge of Java and Object Oriented design principles is essential.
Familiarity with Spring and/or Spring Boot frameworks is required.
Experience with Java build automation tools (Maven) and version control systems (Git) is necessary.
Knowledge of Relational Database development (MySQL and/or Oracle DB) is required.
Excellent verbal and written English skills are mandatory.
Nice-to-have qualifications include experience with business process and rule management (jBPM and Drools), XML, XSD, XSLT, containerization platforms (Docker and/or Podman), container management and orchestration tools (Kubernetes), object storage (AWS S3 and/or MinIO), message brokers (Kafka), developing RESTful APIs, front-end development with Javascript and/or Angular, software testing methods (Unit and/or Integration Testing), experience in an Agile environment, and knowledge of Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery principles.
