Description:

The Senior Localization Engineer will work part-time remotely from Argentina or Taiwan.
The role involves collaborating with various teams to ensure successful implementation of LILT's platform for clients.
Responsibilities include debugging and resolving issues related to LILT’s Connector stack, file filters, and the Okapi Framework.
The engineer will assist in resolving customer pre- and post-processing challenges, collaborate with production teams, and suggest improvements to localization engineering processes.
They will document customer configurations, facilitate feedback between customers and the engineering team, and meet SLAs and KPIs for customer engineering tasks.

Requirements:

At least 3+ years of experience in a localization-engineering role.
Understanding of XLIFF, TMX, TBX, and SRX formats, key localization terms, and best practices.
Knowledge of common file formats, translation tools, RegEx, encoding standards, and character sets.
Familiarity with the Okapi Framework, localization platforms/technologies, coding skills (Python, Java), software development principles, and APIs.
Proficiency in version control systems (Git), excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
