Trustly is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join their Data Science team, focusing on model development and production lifecycle.
The role involves collaborating with Data Scientists, MLOps, and DataOps teams to implement machine learning models for assessing transactional risk and fraud.
Responsibilities include designing data-architecture flows, engineering domain-specific features, building pipelines for model deployment, monitoring model performance, and ensuring scalable system design.
The engineer will also conduct research for innovative ML engineering approaches and collaborate with fraud analysts and product teams to translate business requirements into ML solutions.

Requirements:

A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or other technical disciplines is required.
Candidates must have solid experience in data science and machine learning engineering.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java is necessary.
Hands-on experience in implementing batch and real-time streaming pipelines using SQL and NoSQL database solutions is required.
Familiarity with monitoring tools for data pipelines and model performance is essential.
Experience with AWS cloud services, including Sagemaker, EC2, EMR, and RDS, is required.
Candidates should have experience with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure-as-code tools, and MLOps platforms like MLflow.
Experience with machine learning modeling, particularly tree-based and boosting models for imbalanced target scenarios, is necessary.
Proficiency in online inference, APIs, and services that respond under tight time constraints is required.
Proficiency in English is mandatory.
Prior experience with ML in financial decision-making and familiarity with containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
