Description:
Cherre is the real estate industry's leading data management platform, managing over $3 trillion AUM globally.
The company is seeking a Senior Machine Learning Engineer to develop products that provide ML-powered insights and integrate applications into the Cherre tech pipeline.
Candidates should have a research and development background along with industry-based engineering experience in deploying models into production.
The role involves working with various aspects of machine learning, including deep learning, graph algorithms, and named entity resolution.
The ideal candidate must be able to implement algorithms at scale and have experience with distributed computing and big data applications.
Responsibilities include working within an agile fullstack scrum team to deploy ML models, developing new ML-based services, designing scalable ML pipelines, and collaborating with data engineering for data ingestion workflows.
Requirements:
Candidates must have at least 2 years of software experience, preferably in an object-oriented language.
A minimum of 3 years of experience deploying ML models in a production environment is required.
Industry-based experience with big data and distributed computing applications is essential.
Familiarity with current NLP technologies is necessary.
Proficiency in Python and SQL is required.
Experience with technologies such as Airflow, Kubernetes, Docker, and the GCP stack is expected.
A Master's degree in Computer Science or an Engineering discipline is a nice to have.
Publications or patents in the field of machine learning and experience with Apache Spark are also considered advantageous.
