The role is for a Senior Machine Learning Engineer with over 5 years of experience to lead the framing, development, and deployment of machine learning models.
The engineer will work with vast amounts of structured and unstructured data to derive insights about business behavior and risk.
Team members have full ownership over their projects and are expected to drive project direction and maintain focus.
The team operates in two-week sprints and collaborates closely with Product Management and Software Engineers.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in engineering and data science.
A strong work ethic and a problem-solving mindset are essential; candidates should be able to overcome obstacles and not accept "it can't be done."
An in-depth understanding of applied machine learning algorithms, particularly in NLP and statistics, is required.
Proficiency in Python and its major data science libraries is necessary, along with experience deploying models and algorithms in production.
Candidates should be comfortable with both data science and the engineering aspects of bringing models to production.
A willingness to use a wide range of technologies to find the right tool for the job is important.
Open, frank, and respectful communication is valued within the team.
Experience with AWS and hands-on experience in data analytics and data engineering are considered a plus.
