Remote Senior Rust Engineer

Description:

• Irreducible is seeking a talented Senior Rust Engineer to join their team in Berlin or remotely.
• The role involves working closely with other engineers to productize Binius, a binary field proof system.
• Responsibilities include orchestrating distributed proving tasks over an FPGA server cluster, collaborating with cryptography engineers on library APIs, integrating with peer-to-peer blockchain networks, and performance profiling of open-source code bases.
• The position requires a self-starter attitude to tackle various challenges that arise.
• At the Staff and Principal levels, there will be opportunities to mentor and guide other engineers, providing leadership in Rust development practices, code reviews, and architecture.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have significant professional experience with Rust.
• Experience in performance tuning or optimization is required.
• Applicants should have experience implementing high-performance software or distributed systems.
• A solid understanding of computer architecture and configuration is necessary.
