Irreducible is seeking a talented Senior Rust Engineer to join their team in Berlin or remotely.
The role involves working closely with other engineers to productize Binius, a binary field proof system.
Responsibilities include orchestrating distributed proving tasks over an FPGA server cluster, collaborating with cryptography engineers on library APIs, integrating with peer-to-peer blockchain networks, and performance profiling of open-source code bases.
The position requires a self-starter attitude to tackle various challenges that arise.
At the Staff and Principal levels, there will be opportunities to mentor and guide other engineers, providing leadership in Rust development practices, code reviews, and architecture.
Requirements:
Candidates must have significant professional experience with Rust.
Experience in performance tuning or optimization is required.

A solid understanding of computer architecture and configuration is necessary.
