Description:
As a Senior Security Engineer I at Aledade, you will play a central role in securing enterprise, cloud-native environments, applications, and data.
You will collaborate with various engineering and infrastructure teams to ensure the security and scalability of our cloud environments.
The position requires understanding the importance of data and automation in achieving security goals and actively employing these at scale.
You will work cross-functionally to design, build, and operate solutions that enhance our security capabilities.
Your responsibilities will include leveraging data to identify trends, metrics, and opportunities for improving our security posture, and making recommendations to stakeholders.
You will lead incident response efforts, focusing on analysis, containment, and mitigation strategies to ensure effective resolution of security incidents.
Additionally, you will help craft and refine security documentation relevant to our Security Program, including policies, standards, and standard operating procedures.
Requirements:
A BS/BTech (or higher) in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field is required, or 6 years of domain experience without a degree.
A minimum of 4 years of combined experience in an enterprise environment, preferably in cloud, is required.
At least 3 years of experience in operations and/or supporting incident response is necessary.
You should have 2+ years of experience acting as a trusted technical decision-maker in a team setting, focusing on both short-term and long-term business value.
A minimum of 2 years of experience coaching other engineers is required.
Preferred qualifications include prior experience in the healthcare industry with health-tech systems, and proficiency in scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
Experience with Cloud Native Software Development environments, particularly in multi-cloud deployments in AWS and Azure, is required.
Familiarity with continuous integration tools, configuration management platforms, and hands-on experience with Terraform and/or Kubernetes at scale is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, are essential for articulating complex technical issues to a diverse audience.
