The Japan team is building a modern ledger system localized for Japan, aimed at maintaining a complete and correct view of account activities.
The role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining systems and services that empower millions of users trading billions of dollars worth of assets.
Responsibilities include collaborating with internal stakeholders to deliver high-impact features/projects, building backend systems with integrity and scalability, and owning the delivery of high-visibility features from design to deployment.
The position is fully remote, allowing team members to work from their favorite places worldwide.

Requirements:

Candidates must be fluent in business-level Japanese (reading and writing) and conversational English.
Strong system design skills with object-oriented data modeling, service-oriented architectures, and system abstraction are required.
Candidates should demonstrate dedication to writing performant, defect-free, maintainable code.
A proactive problem-solving mindset and the ability to coordinate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders are essential.
Strong coding skills in Go and Java are necessary.
Experience with IDLs (e.g., protobuf), RPC frameworks (e.g., gRPC), cloud platforms (e.g., GCP), and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL) is required.
