The Senior Software Engineer position at SmartAsset offers a high-growth opportunity to shape and own the technical and architectural direction of web products.
You will lead an AGILE SCRUM team responsible for running and scaling smartasset.com, a crucial domain for the business.
Responsibilities include making key technical decisions, improving engineering practices, guiding technical designs, and collaborating with various stakeholders to shape the web presence roadmap.
The role involves working on both front and backend services to build and migrate the new content management system.
The ideal candidate will have 7+ years of engineering experience, expertise in Java, ReactJS, and NodeJS, proficiency in SQL, solid knowledge of Git, experience with cloud solutions (preferably AWS), leadership skills, coaching abilities, risk management expertise, and a startup mindset.
Preferred skills/experience include using headless WordPress, NextJS framework, GraphQL, A/B testing tools, Terraform, and ad serving platforms like DFP.
Requirements:
7+ years of engineering experience creating, maintaining, and scaling web platforms
Proficiency in Java, ReactJS, NodeJS, SQL, and Git
Experience with cloud solutions, leadership in Agile environments, coaching skills, risk management abilities, and a startup mindset
Preferred skills in headless WordPress, NextJS, GraphQL, A/B testing tools, Terraform, and ad serving platforms
