Remote Senior Software Engineer

Description:

• SmartAsset is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their team responsible for the content management architecture.
• The role involves working on both front and backend services to build and migrate the new content management system.
• Responsibilities include delivering software using Agile methodology, building and maintaining full-stack enterprise technology solutions, and partnering with the Product team to streamline content creation and delivery.
• The Senior Software Engineer will integrate with third-party tools and internal Data teams, design an enterprise Content Management architecture, and identify opportunities for adopting new technologies or processes.
• The position offers the opportunity to work in a highly collaborative team environment and contribute to the growth and innovation of SmartAsset's SmartAdvisor platform.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience building full stack web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java web applications, ReactJS, NodeJS, SQL, and Git.
• Experience designing complex cloud solutions on AWS.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and continuous improvement.
• Preferred experience with headless WordPress, NextJS, GraphQL, A/B testing tools, Terraform, and ad serving platforms.
