Description:
Ironclad is seeking a Senior AI Engineer to join their team and revolutionize how legal teams handle contracts.
The role involves working with cutting-edge technologies, including the HuggingFace framework and OpenAI APIs, to build state-of-the-art models and services that extract valuable information from contracts.
The Senior AI Engineer will collaborate with design, product, and data engineering teams to build new features that enhance contract handling efficiency for customers.
Responsibilities include leading the design and implementation of backend services for legal document ingestion, driving the technical vision for the team, and evolving the machine learning platform.
The engineer will also work on model training, evaluation, and serving, and will provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.
The position requires maintaining software and addressing any critical issues reported by users.
Requirements:
A BS Degree in Computer Science or a related field is required.
A minimum of 5 years of experience working with backend services, REST APIs, and Python is required.
At least 2 years of experience in NLP, including text classification, entity extraction, Q&A, and document analysis is required.
Experience in ML model training, evaluation, and serving is required.
Proficiency in deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and TensorFlow is required.
Skills in data processing and manipulation with Python (using libraries like pandas and numpy) are required.
Familiarity with cloud services (Azure, GCP, AWS) is required.
Experience with Git or an equivalent version control system is required.
Exemplary coding practices with a strong focus on quality are required.
Strong communication and collaboration skills are required.
Passion for building and shipping products that customers love is required.
Nice to have skills include experience with GPT or generative AI, VertexAI, Docker, PDF and DOCX file formats, CI/CD systems, and Datadog or equivalent.
