We are an early-stage startup building a health AI platform aimed at helping clinicians utilize real-time data to reduce preventable complications and save patient lives.
We seek a software engineer with diverse experience across technical stacks who is eager to make an impact in the healthcare sector.
Our team consists of AI/ML experts, software engineers, product designers, behavior change specialists, and clinicians, all working collaboratively to tackle challenging problems while maintaining a fun work environment.
The role is essential for expanding and scaling our platform and module offerings, which are entirely powered by data and machine learning.
Responsibilities include working with product managers, clinicians, data scientists, and other engineers to create a reliable and scalable real-time clinical AI platform, collaborating with data scientists to enhance ML model development and deployment, designing and implementing health data pipelines that integrate with EHR systems, developing backend APIs and ML services, and partnering with infrastructure engineers to deploy the clinical AI platform on AWS.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in developing and deploying ML-based products and services in production.
A minimum of 5+ years of experience in building and maintaining highly scalable and reliable cloud-based production ML systems is required.
Applicants should have at least 3+ years of experience using MLOps principles for building infrastructure that supports ML model development and deployment in production systems.
Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL or MySQL for at least 3+ years is necessary.
Candidates must have 3+ years of experience with cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
Hands-on experience implementing production ML systems at scale in Python, C++, or similar languages is required, with a preference for proficiency in Python.
Applicants should have experience in solving complex system and storage challenges through scalable, fault-tolerant architecture.
A strong sense of ownership, the ability to navigate uncertainty, and the grit to overcome challenges are essential traits.
A collaborative, driven team player mentality is necessary, along with a BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
Experience with health data, EHR systems integration, and Health IT interoperability standards is preferable.
