The role is for a Senior Software Engineer focused on Core Infrastructure, located in Hyderabad.
The R&D team is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience in managing Apache Airflow at scale.
The position is DevOps-focused and ideal for candidates with a strong software engineering foundation eager to build, operate, and optimize infrastructure and deployment platforms.
Responsibilities include enhancing scalability, performance, and reliability while minimizing operational overhead, collaborating with cross-functional teams, implementing security measures, and utilizing monitoring tools for optimization.
The engineer will serve as a primary point responsible for the overall health, performance, and capacity of the platform, assist in deploying new product features, develop tools for rapid deployment, and participate in an on-call rotation.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3 years of hands-on experience operating Kubernetes clusters in a production environment.
A minimum of 5 years of software development experience in Python or Golang is required.
Strong experience with at least one Continuous Integration system, such as CircleCI or Jenkins, is necessary.
Automation/Scripting experience with Shell, Python, or similar is required.
Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Cloudformation is essential.
Experience in managing and scaling distributed systems in one of the three major cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) is needed.
Candidates should have an understanding of the Linux Operating System, standard networking protocols, and components.
Experience with deploying, supporting, and monitoring new and existing services, platforms, and application stacks is required.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills are essential.
