Description:

Second Front Systems’ Product team is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Software Engineer to join the Observability team.
The team is focused on accelerating the deployment of emerging technology into national security use-cases.
The role involves developing and delivering high-quality software for commercial and government customers, including the Department of Defense.
The engineer will collaborate with others to implement software that delivers unique capabilities.
Responsibilities include working cross-functionally in a fast-paced agile environment to deliver exceptional software solutions.
The Observability team is looking for a software engineer with DevSecOps experience, particularly in building and scaling microservices with a focus on application and networking security.
Experience handling secure and sensitive data in highly-regulated environments is a plus.
The position requires U.S. citizenship due to government contract requirements.

Requirements:

Candidates must have five years of Software Engineering experience with strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Experience with the full product development lifecycle is required.
Proven ability to break down complex problems and diagnose and fix bugs or issues is essential.
A strong understanding of systems development concepts, including REST APIs, Authentication, and Event-driven architectures, is necessary.
Candidates should have a strong understanding of microservices and experience with Grafana.
The ability to work independently and collaborate with team members in a remote environment is required.

The position offers a competitive salary ranging from $160,000 to $180,000 a year.
