Description:

Seek's mission is to create natural language interfaces to structured data, enabling business users to explore their data freely without SQL expertise.
The platform engineering team builds and operates a high-performance, robust, and secure application that utilizes Seek's ML core.
As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design, implement, and deliver the Seek platform in various operational environments.
The platform is available as a hosted SaaS application and also runs inside Snowflake via Snowpark Container Services.
Responsibilities include designing and implementing product features, becoming an expert in runtime cloud environments, scoping and leading new projects, adapting the platform to cloud capabilities, reviewing teammates' design documents and PRs, and assisting in hiring activities for the R&D organization.

Requirements:

Strong, demonstrable skills in Python or related languages are required.
Experience in building and operating scaled services on public cloud infrastructure is necessary.
Candidates must have experience designing distributed services and architectures.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, along with a penchant for creating clarity, are essential.
Proven experience operating independently on significant projects, such as serving as a tech lead on new initiatives, is required.
A strong test-driven approach to building highly reliable software is necessary.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $160,000 to $180,000, based on the Greater New York area.
The final offer may vary based on the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities.
The compensation package includes equity.
This role may be performed fully remotely within the United States for the ideal candidate.
