Description:
Osmind is a platform focused on advancing new life-saving mental health treatments, addressing the global mental health crisis.
The company is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance their architecture, processes, and system scalability.
The role involves contributing to the existing software platform, improving code quality through test automation, building internal tools, and streamlining developer workflows.
Responsibilities include 70% coding and 30% collaboration and mentorship.
The engineer will take product concepts and build features end to end, work with leadership to scope new features, and support team members through mentorship.
The position requires continuous learning and solving various engineering challenges.
The engineer will lead new feature initiatives across the tech stack and help establish operational best practices.
The tech stack includes TypeScript, Node.js, React, React Native (Expo), Postgres, AWS, and Lambda/Serverless.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of full-stack software development experience, specifically in building end-to-end features in complex web systems.
A minimum of 2 years of frontend experience with React or similar frameworks is required.
Candidates should have at least 2 years of backend experience working with relational databases.
An interest in improving mental healthcare and the patient journey is essential.
Nice to haves include experience with NodeJS, leading new feature initiatives, working on HIPAA-compliant applications, using AWS, and mobile development with React Native.
Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $168,350 - $200,000, depending on experience and location, along with an equity package for eligible employees.
