Outreach is seeking a Senior Staff Software Engineer for its Voice Intelligence Services team, focusing on enhancing the Kaia (Knowledge AI Assistant) platform.
The role involves working in a fast-paced environment, utilizing the latest technologies to address significant challenges in sales engagement.
Responsibilities include working with voice/video streams and real-time transcriptions to extract intelligence and actionable insights.
The engineer will analyze the relevance of extracted intelligence, evaluate the performance of extraction algorithms, and assess third-party voice processing APIs.
The position requires engineering high availability into complex systems and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure customer success on the platform.
The engineer will prototype and test solutions to large problems and will work on a highly visible part of Outreach’s product.
The role offers opportunities to interact directly with customers and exposure to cutting-edge technologies in machine learning and cloud-driven development.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 8+ years of experience shipping production-quality code in Java, Go, or C++, along with strong software engineering skills.
Proven technical and project leadership skills are required, with the ability to guide and mentor others.
Experience with cloud-based service applications and continuous-deployment projects is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate a willingness to go above and beyond to assist team members.
The ability to prioritize details along a path of iterative delivery is necessary.
Candidates must be able to quickly ramp up on new technologies and start contributing effectively.

The position offers a competitive annual base salary range of $185,000-$240,000, with potential for incentive compensation, bonuses, and restricted stock units.
