Remote Senior System Engineer

Description:

• Arηs is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join their team working remotely for one of the largest European organizations.
• Responsibilities include deploying application hotfixes/patches, administering IaaS and PaaS resources on Azure and AWS, managing Windows Azure/AWS VM updates, upgrading/migrating Microsoft Windows server instances, monitoring server performance, automating configuration management, incident management, modern authentication administration, Windows Server administration, and investigating root causes of incidents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proficient in written and verbal English communication (B2/C1 CERF level).
• Strong knowledge of Windows Azure/AWS VMs, Microsoft Windows server, Ansible/Terraform, modern authentication administration, and Windows Server administration.
• Experience in monitoring server performance, incident management, and proposing solutions.
• Service-oriented attitude, interpersonal skills, ability to work under pressure, and provide efficient solutions.
• Initiative, responsibility, accuracy, and attention to detail.
