They are seeking a Senior Technical Lead to architect and oversee the complete streaming infrastructure for a new XR sports and entertainment engagement product.
This role involves managing the overall streaming architecture, coordinating cross-functional development pods, and serving as the technical liaison with clients and partners.
The Senior Technical Lead will be responsible for the strategic direction of the server platform, ensuring seamless integration between backend streaming services, video delivery systems, and XR frontend applications.
The product is live and fan-facing, focusing on real-time streaming performance and client relationship management regarding infrastructure requirements and security protocols.
The role requires working directly with the Head of Technology to establish the technical roadmap from MVP through launch and live operations.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 10+ years of systems engineering experience, including 4+ years in Senior Technical Lead positions with distributed streaming architectures.
Expert-level knowledge of streaming infrastructure, including real-time data streaming, video delivery systems, and CDN optimization is required.
Strong technical leadership experience managing cross-functional development teams and coordinating complex technical projects is essential.
Excellent client-facing skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders are necessary.
Experience with real-time technology ecosystems, including live event streaming, broadcast integration, and fan engagement platforms is preferred.
Candidates should possess strategic thinking capabilities combined with hands-on technical expertise in streaming architecture design.
Experience with agile development methodologies and cross-functional team coordination is required.
A proven track record of vendor management and external partner integrations in live entertainment contexts is necessary.
Candidates must have experience building scalable systems that handle variable load patterns and peak event traffic.
Understanding of security requirements, compliance protocols, and enterprise-level infrastructure management is essential.
