Description:

  • Intuition Machines uses AI/ML to build enterprise security products, serving hundreds of millions of people globally.
  • As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will focus on engineering solutions related to performance, availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • You will work at multiple layers of the internet-scale system, including infrastructure, data, and application logic.
  • The role involves direct interaction with engineers at large enterprise customers and startups, alongside product, customer success, and sales teams.
  • Responsibilities include working with large-scale systems that handle millions of requests per second and serve millions of users across multiple cloud providers.
  • You will develop solutions to enhance performance, availability, security, and cost-effectiveness.
  • The goal is to ensure system uptime, speed, and productivity for development teams, improving performance across quality, security, uptime, speed-to-deliver, threat detection, and customer engagement.
  • You will source improvement ideas from customers and internal metrics, making rapid decisions to implement changes.
  • Creativity and a desire to create value for customers are essential.

Requirements:

  • Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages: Python, JavaScript, or Go.
  • A background in software engineering with expertise in backend development within Kubernetes-based systems is required.
  • Hands-on experience in development and orchestration within high-scale, high-uptime, and high-reliability environments is necessary.
  • A minimum of six years of hands-on experience in related roles such as engineering, DevOps, or SRE is required.
  • Familiarity with distributed systems, including queue-first architectures and sharding, is essential.
  • Demonstrated engineering expertise, including gathering requirements, problem-solving, and making recommendations, is expected.
  • Preferred qualifications include familiarity with security frameworks, attack vectors, botnets, and impact analysis.
