Description:
Leadtech is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer – AWS Cloud & DevOps to design, maintain, and optimize cloud infrastructure.
The role involves working with a variety of AWS services, automating processes, ensuring platform reliability and security, and supporting high-performance systems.
The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Development, BI, and Security to build scalable and secure environments.
Key responsibilities include designing and managing AWS infrastructure using Terraform, developing CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins, and automating workflows using Shell and Groovy.
The engineer will also manage and troubleshoot UNIX/Linux or BSD systems, ensure cloud security, monitor and optimize infrastructure, and administer databases.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 3–4+ years of hands-on experience as an SRE, DevOps Engineer, or Systems Administrator in cloud environments.
Strong hands-on experience with AWS and core services such as Lambda, EC2, ECS, S3, API Gateway, CloudFront, WAF, and OpenSearch is required.
Proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is necessary.
Expertise in Jenkins for creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Solid experience with Shell and Groovy scripting is required; knowledge of Python or PowerShell is a plus.
Advanced administration skills in UNIX/Linux/BSD systems are mandatory.
A solid understanding of networking concepts including TCP/IP, VPCs, DNS (Route 53), Security Groups, and Route Tables is required.
Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL/MariaDB, and DynamoDB is necessary.
Familiarity with security practices including SSL/TLS, IAM roles, and KMS is required.
Experience with tools like SonarQube and Dependency Track is necessary; knowledge of Nexus is a plus.
Professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required.
