Description:

Restaurant365 is a SaaS company that provides a centralized solution for accounting and back-office operations for restaurants.
The Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) will support, enhance, and maintain the company's infrastructure and cloud services.
The SRE will collaborate with devops and development teams to sustain a healthy responsive system.
Responsibilities include responding to production incidents, triaging and troubleshooting production issues, and identifying and automating manual processes.
The SRE will continuously evolve monitoring tools and platforms and promote best practices for building scalable and reliable services.
The role involves developing and maintaining technical documentation, runbooks, and procedures.
The SRE will provide 24x7 support by participating in an on-call rotation and conducting root cause analysis.
The position requires automating public cloud environments using tools like Terraform, Ansible, and cloud formation.
The SRE will implement and adhere to security policies and work with audit teams to research and remediate system vulnerabilities.
The role includes interacting with architects, developers, vendors, and internal business partners, as well as maintaining documentation of cloud infrastructure components.

Requirements:

Candidates must have extensive experience with SRE methodologies and processes.
An automation expert mindset with coding skills in PowerShell, Bash, Perl, PHP, or containers is required.
Extensive scripting experience with Terraform, YAML, Ansible, and Python is necessary.
Candidates should have automation experience in public cloud environments and a strong understanding of infrastructure as code.
Experience in continuous deployment and lifecycle management using tools such as Gitlab, Git, or Stash is required.
Linux engineering skills and a working knowledge of Windows are essential.
Candidates must have working experience with Nginx and Apache Tomcat.
A minimum of 2 years of hands-on administration and automation experience with Azure or AWS services is required.
Strong prioritization and execution skills in a high-velocity environment are necessary.
A bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience is required.
Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are essential.
AWS or Azure cloud certification is preferred.
Preferred experience includes using Jira, Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, and Nagios.

The salary range for this position is $100K-$130K, with actual salary varying based on skills, experience, and location.
