Description:

Arista Networks is seeking Site Reliability Engineers to contribute to the early rollout of internal and customer-facing services, making key architecture decisions, and implementing best practices in advancing Software Defined Networking in the cloud.
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role involves software and systems engineering to build and maintain high-performance, distributed systems.
SRE roles at Arista are focused on Internal Tools (CI/CD pipelines, source repos) and External SaaS (cloud-based public SaaS).
Responsibilities include engaging in the entire service lifecycle, supporting services before they go live, maintaining live services, scaling systems sustainably through automation, and practicing incident response and postmortems.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
Proficiency in Go and Python programming languages.
Experience operating a cloud-based SaaS.
Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems.
Familiarity with Jenkins, Docker, and K8s.
Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks.
Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems.
