Description:

Arista Networks is seeking Site Reliability Engineers to contribute significantly to the early deployment of internal and customer-facing services, making critical architecture decisions, and implementing best practices to advance the Software Defined Networking revolution in the cloud.
The Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) role involves a combination of software and systems engineering to develop and maintain high-performance, distributed, and resilient systems, playing a crucial role in optimizing system capacity and performance continuously.
SRE roles at Arista are divided into Internal Tools, responsible for designing and operating internal systems like CI/CD pipelines, and External SaaS, involving active participation in a cloud-based public SaaS across all Arista teams.
Both roles offer the autonomy to enhance quality and availability by creating and implementing best practices and tools.

Requirements:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field involving software/systems engineering, or equivalent practical experience is required.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Go and Python is essential.
Prior experience in operating a cloud-based SaaS is necessary.
Expertise in designing, analyzing, and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems is a must.
Familiarity with tools like Jenkins, Docker, and K8s is preferred.
Ability to debug, optimize code, and automate routine tasks is crucial.
Understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems is required.
