Description:

Saviynt is seeking a Software Architect for Privilege Access Management to help enable customers in their digital transformation and evolve the platform.
The role involves defining overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards, contributing to the architecture strategy, and aligning with the product roadmap.
Responsibilities include combining a broad understanding of current technologies with deep expertise in areas such as database design, software architecture, cloud architecture, and infrastructure architecture.
The Software Architect will guide early-phase application design decisions, drive technical decisions to support critical success factors, facilitate technical design conversations, review and create system specifications, and provide hands-on development support.
The position requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience, a minimum of 5+ years of software architect experience, and 2+ years of experience with Privileged Access Management.
Candidates should have hands-on knowledge of various Java frameworks, deployment patterns for cloud deployments, and key cloud platform components.
Strong communication skills, knowledge of security principles, and expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems are essential for this role.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Minimum of 5+ years of Software architect experience with customer-facing, large-scale, web-based, or SaaS applications. Overall 10+ years of experience.
Minimum 2+ years of software development or software architect experience with Privileged Access management with any of the leading PAM products.
Deep, hands-on, architect-level understanding of various Java frameworks (spring boot, grails etc.).
Strong knowledge of architectural styles and design patterns. Microservices experience and the development of APIs are a strong plus.
Hands-on knowledge of deployment patterns for cloud deployments - AWS & Azure.
Extremely clear communicator with a listen-first approach.
Thorough knowledge of key cloud platform components such as AWS RDS, Elastic Search, RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ, Kafka, Kubernetes, and Spring cloud framework.
Thorough knowledge of security principles and patterns of Authentication and Authorization, Single sign-on, and federation. Knowledge of spring security, SAML, OAuth, etc is also highly preferred.
Expertise in analyzing and troubleshooting large-scale distributed systems and willingness to help the support and development teams diagnose and address production issues.
Ability to balance the long-term (“big picture”) and short-term implications of individual decisions.
