Description:
LivePerson is seeking a Software Development Engineer II to join their team focused on voice analytics.
The role involves building and maintaining scalable web applications and developing JavaScript backend services using NodeJS.
Responsibilities include delivering testable, maintainable, and high-quality code, as well as participating in technical design, implementation, testing, support, and peer code reviews.
The position requires collaboration with multiple engineering and product teams.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience in building successful production software systems.
A minimum of 3 years of experience in the development of Microservices, RESTful APIs, and backend systems is required.
Proficiency in frontend web frameworks such as Vue or Angular is necessary.
Experience with backend web frameworks, specifically NodeJS, is essential.
Familiarity with code repository and deployment pipelines, including GIT, Docker, and Kubernetes, is required.
Candidates should have experience with relational or non-relational databases, including MySQL and Cassandra.
A graduate degree in Computer Science, Statistics, or another quantitative field is required.
Strong programming skills in NodeJS/Typescript for at least 3 years are a must.
Working knowledge of technologies such as Kafka, Redis, and NoSQL for at least 1 year is required.
Experience with Git for at least 1 year is mandatory.
Experience in Kubernetes and AWS is considered a plus.

The salary range for this role is between 104,000 CAD to 128,000 CAD, with final compensation determined by various factors.
