Description:
The Software Engineer position at Edpuzzle involves working on all front-end, mobile, and back-end aspects of the software to create the best product for teachers and students.
Responsibilities include participating in design, feature creation, and maintenance, writing clean and scalable code, fixing bugs, and continuously learning to tackle problems of increasing complexity.
The team uses React, Redux, Node, Express, DDD, and hexagonal architecture for development, MongoDB for the database, and AWS for hosting and video streaming.
The Engineering team follows best practices, including testing, trunk-based development, and CI/CD, to ensure high code quality and reliability.
The team is product-focused, encourages sharing ideas, and values every team member's input in shaping project strategy and technical solutions.
Requirements:
At least 4 years of professional experience in frontend, backend, or full-stack development.
Proficiency in writing well-tested JavaScript code and experience with at least one frontend framework (e.g., React, Vue, Svelte) and Node.js.
Strong communication skills, pragmatic approach to technologies, and focus on solving product problems with the end user in mind.
Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and pursue goals while maintaining flexibility.
Proficiency in spoken Spanish and written English.
Must be based in Spain with a work permit.
