We are looking for a Polyglot Software Engineer who thrives in dynamic, high-impact environments and enjoys tackling complex challenges across diverse technologies.
You will work directly under our Head of Engineering to build game-changing solutions for our customers.
Your responsibilities will include contributing to the design and development of our disruptive database virtualization platform, ensuring data integrity, scalability, reliability, and performance.
You will tackle intricate engineering challenges such as low-latency programming, real-time data migrations, and system interoperability.
Collaboration is key, as you will work closely with the Head of Engineering, CTO, customers, and other team members to align technical implementations with business objectives.
You will need to learn and adapt by diving into new programming languages, frameworks, and tools as needed to solve problems and deliver value.
Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while participating in code reviews, testing, and debugging will be part of your role.
You are encouraged to bring creative, out-of-the-box ideas to help shape the future of our product and technology stack.

Requirements:

You must be a Polyglot Engineer with proficiency in at least three programming languages, such as C++, TypeScript, Python, Java, or Rust, and be comfortable navigating full-stack development.
A solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and system design principles is required.
Experience working with databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or Oracle is necessary, with a bonus for those who have worked with database internals or migrations.
You should have a proven ability to solve complex technical challenges independently or as part of a team.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a small, fast-paced team are essential.
A passion for learning new technologies and pushing boundaries is important.
Preferred experience includes 3+ years of professional software development experience, exposure to containerization (e.g., Docker) and orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes), and experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, or GCP).
Familiarity with distributed systems, compilers, or low-latency applications, as well as knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines, with experience in GitHub Actions or similar tools, is preferred.
