As a Software Engineer, you will design components and services for new feature developments.
You will implement scalable architecture and contribute to projects critical for Fleet Safety.
Responsibilities include collaborating with a cross-functional team, writing secure and maintainable code, launching and supporting features, leading code reviews, and guiding software architecture decisions.
Requirements:
You must have 4-8+ years of software development experience.
A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is required.
You should have an affinity for creating software that is extensible, performant, and easy to read.
Strong programming skills in one or more of the following languages are necessary: Ruby (Rails), GoLang, Java, Python, or NodeJS.
A solid understanding of relational databases, preferably Postgres or MySQL, is required.
Experience with scaling, troubleshooting, migrations, and security of distributed systems is essential.
Familiarity with NoSQL databases, AWS, microservices, and SOA is expected.
Experience with CI/CD and version control, preferably Git, is also required.
