As an experienced Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a crucial role in streamlining and automating software development and deployment processes.
You will implement and manage DevOps tools, practices, and processes to improve software development, testing, and deployment pipelines.
Collaboration with development and IT teams will be essential to automate build, deployment, and release processes for maximum efficiency, reliability, and security.
You will develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines, incorporating automated testing and deployment to accelerate software delivery and minimize risk.
Proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of production systems will be part of your responsibilities to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
You will drive continuous improvements in system reliability, scalability, and security through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and robust configuration management practices.
Ensuring compliance with security standards and policies will involve implementing secure coding practices, vulnerability assessments, and system hardening.
Staying updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in DevOps, security, and cloud computing will be necessary to enhance workflows and security posture.
You will foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and knowledge sharing within the DevOps team and across the organization.
Developing and implementing disaster recovery and backup strategies will be crucial to protect and maintain critical system functionality.
Requirements:
A proven track record as a DevOps Engineer with experience in creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and optimizing infrastructure is required.
Strong proficiency in development languages such as TypeScript, Go, or similar, and scripting languages like Python, Bash, or Ruby is necessary.
Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Kubernetes) is essential.
A deep understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation is required.
Demonstrated experience with CI/CD tools like CircleCI, GitHub Workflows, Jenkins, or similar is necessary.
Solid knowledge of version control systems, particularly Git, for collaborative development and versioning is required.
Expertise in monitoring and observability tools like Grafana, Prometheus, or the ELK stack is essential for ensuring system visibility and performance.
A strong grasp of networking protocols, security practices, and troubleshooting methodologies is necessary.
Knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements (such as SOC 2, ISO 27001) is required.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and collaboration skills are essential for a fast-paced, agile, and team-driven environment.
5+ years of DevOps or development experience is preferred.
2+ years of experience operating and maintaining production systems is required.
2+ years of experience with a typed language such as Go or TypeScript is necessary.
2+ years of experience working with SQL databases at the application and infrastructure levels is required.
Experience designing and maintaining APIs, with familiarity in GraphQL being helpful, is preferred.
Being independent and self-motivated, with a history of maintaining side projects or libraries, is a major plus.
