The role is for an experienced engineer to join the Foundations team, responsible for building foundational pieces for product teams.
The team focuses on both strategic and tactical aspects, influencing long-term strategy while delivering key pieces during high growth.
Responsibilities include influencing long-term infrastructure strategy, improving engineering operational excellence, scoping projects, documenting decisions, coordinating changes, building new SDKs and third-party integrations, developing tooling for API reliability, debugging user issues, and adapting products to reduce friction.
The technology stack includes TypeScript, React, and Postgres, with familiarity being a bonus.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 5+ years of overall software engineering experience, with at least 3 years in building, scaling, maintaining, and debugging product infrastructure.
A deep understanding of cloud services and experience running large-scale services and databases in cloud environments is required.
Candidates should be intellectually curious, independently driven, and passionate about creating great products.
Expert-level skill in at least one programming language and familiarity with others is necessary.
Experience working on small teams in fast-paced environments and excellent prioritization skills are essential.
Candidates must have experience building and shipping web applications and/or API services end-to-end.
A growth mindset, high emotional intelligence, and strong communication skills are required.
Experience with mentorship for fellow team members is preferred.
Bonus points for experience in B2B SaaS, developer tools, or a related industry.
