Description:

SmartAsset is seeking a Software Engineer with expertise in Java and React to join the Core Services team.
The role involves engaging in a collaborative team environment to deliver software using Agile methodology.
Responsibilities include building and maintaining full-stack enterprise technology solutions, partnering with the Product team to streamline content delivery, and integrating with third-party tools.
The engineer will work with architects to design a scalable Content Management architecture and identify opportunities for adopting new technologies to improve software quality and efficiency.
The position is remote and available to candidates in the contiguous United States.

Requirements:

Candidates must have 3+ years of engineering experience in building full-stack web applications.
Strong experience in building, shipping, scaling, and operating Java web applications, with knowledge of ReactJS and NodeJS frameworks.
Proficiency in SQL and comfort with relational databases is required.
Strong knowledge of Git or other source control tools is necessary.
Experience in designing complex cloud solutions based on AWS is essential.
Candidates should demonstrate critical and strategic thinking about business, products, and technical challenges.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills and familiarity with agile environments are required.
Enthusiasm for working in a startup environment and the ability to be cross-functional is important.
A passion for technology and continuous improvement within a team is expected.
