The company is seeking a talented Software Developer to work closely with Data Center Engineers and KVM Engineers.
The role involves designing, optimizing, or building a custom Software-Defined Networking (SDN) solution tailored to Luxor's infrastructure needs.
This position offers a unique opportunity to tackle complex networking challenges, including integrating existing SDN solutions and architecting new systems that will serve as the backbone of Luxor Cloud’s networking stack.
Requirements:
Candidates must have strong proficiency in C, C++, or Rust for developing high-performance, low-latency networking applications.
A deep understanding of networking protocols such as VLAN, VXLAN, BGP, EVPN, MPLS, and IPsec is required.
Knowledge of control plane and data plane separation in SDN architectures is essential.
Hands-on experience with SDN technologies like Open vSwitch (OVS), Snabb, ZeroTier, and SONiC is necessary.
A solid knowledge of the Linux networking stack, including iptables, nftables, netfilter, and kernel-level networking modules, is required.
Familiarity with network performance tuning and high-speed packet processing techniques is important.
A strong background in network security protocols and best practices is needed.
Proficiency in the English language is mandatory.
