Description:
The position involves developing, deploying, and maintaining EVM-based smart contracts, ensuring they are secure, efficient, and production-ready for Ethereum mainnet or rollups.
The developer will contribute to the development of RETH, a Rust-based Ethereum execution environment, by collaborating on feature enhancements and providing insights on relevant EVM improvements.
Responsibilities include building proof-of-concept applications, such as t-dex and other primitives, to demonstrate and expand the capabilities of 𝚝𝟷, enabling other developers to innovate on the platform.
The role requires staying up-to-date with the latest Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) and actively applying new innovations to 𝚝𝟷’s development efforts.
Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team is essential to bridge smart contract development with core blockchain infrastructure.
This is a remote role, but candidates must be located in time zones between Eastern Time (ET) and Central European Time (CET).
Requirements:
A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a similar technical field is required.
A Master’s degree (or equivalent, such as two Bachelor’s degrees) is preferred.
Proven experience in developing and deploying EVM-based smart contracts, with a strong track record of shipping production-grade code to Ethereum mainnet or other rollups is necessary.
Hands-on experience working at a company with a mainnet product is essential, demonstrating an understanding of the end-to-end lifecycle of Ethereum-based solutions.
Candidates must have deep expertise in leveraging the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) and the ability to operate at the cutting edge of EVM innovation and execution.
A strong understanding of smart contract design, security, and optimization specifically for mainnet environments is required.
