Description:
Ardent is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Solution Architect to join their team in a remote position.
The Solution Architect will play a critical role in designing and delivering innovative, enterprise-grade solutions that address complex challenges for clients.
Responsibilities include leading the architectural design of complex enterprise systems, ensuring adherence to industry best practices and compliance with organizational policies.
The role involves developing comprehensive system architecture documentation, analyzing client requirements, and providing tailored, scalable solutions.
The Solution Architect will leverage modern technologies, such as the ESRI Enterprise platform, to enhance system capabilities and scalability.
The position requires driving the adoption of modern practices like Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) to streamline development and operational efficiency.
The Solution Architect will contribute to business development efforts by writing, reviewing, and refining technical content for proposals.
Ensuring all solutions align with federal and agency-specific policies, including security and data governance, is a key responsibility.
The role includes acting as a liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, communicating complex technical concepts effectively to non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
A Master's Degree or higher (or a Bachelor’s with additional experience) in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Geography, or Environmental Science is required.
A minimum of 6 years of experience in designing and implementing complex architectures, with at least 8 years specializing in geospatial or enterprise systems, is necessary.
Expertise in enterprise platforms like the ESRI Enterprise suite is essential.
Proven experience with CI/CD tools and practices to automate testing, deployment, and monitoring is required.
A strong understanding of modern IT architecture and configuration management is necessary.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently and collaboratively are essential.
Excellent communication and presentation skills are required.
Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work are necessary.
Preferred qualifications include experience with serverless architectures and cloud-native development, knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, and experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence.
All candidates must be willing to undergo the government-issued background investigation process.
