Description:
Color Health is seeking a strategic and technically strong Staff Business Intelligence Analyst to join their Data team.
This role is pivotal in shaping how the company communicates the value and impact of its cancer screening programs.
The position is high-impact and high-visibility, ideal for someone who thrives in ambiguity and can work independently across cross-functional teams.
The Staff BI Analyst will partner with Sales, Go-To-Market (GTM), and Customer Success to translate stakeholder questions into clear requirements and define consistent metrics.
Responsibilities include steering strategic conversations, driving stakeholder alignment on program impact, and empowering stakeholders with self-service resources.
The analyst will design analytics products, contribute to the dbt project, and proactively identify analytical opportunities to improve operations and outcomes.
This position offers a rare opportunity to step into a staff-level role with both strategic influence and hands-on responsibility.
Requirements:
Candidates must have 8+ years of experience in data analytics, BI, or a related field, with experience working closely with Sales and Customer Success teams.
A strong desire to work at the intersection of healthcare and technology is essential.
Proven ability to align stakeholders and communicate timelines and priorities clearly is required.
Candidates should have a passion for aligning terminology and metric definitions across teams.
Expertise in BI tools such as Metabase, Looker, Tableau, or Omni is necessary, with a focus on building intuitive, self-service dashboards.
Advanced SQL skills and some experience with dbt or equivalent data transformation tools are required.
Excellent communication skills are essential, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences.
Curiosity that drives proactive questioning and a deep desire to uncover the true business need behind analytics requests is important.
Experience partnering with Product and Engineering to advocate for necessary data instrumentation and tracking is required.
Familiarity with basic statistical concepts, such as confidence intervals and two-sample hypothesis testing, is necessary.
Benefits:
The base salary range for this position is $150,000-195,000 per year, depending on various factors such as work experience and geographic location.
The role may also be eligible for bonus, equity, and benefits.
