Description:

Guide architectural decisions for computer vision and multimodal systems while driving the implementation of novel ML approaches and best practices.
Lead technical design reviews and architecture discussions, establishing patterns for model development and deployment.
Evaluate and introduce new technologies and methodologies to ensure technical excellence across ML initiatives.
Mentor both senior and junior machine learning engineers, fostering a culture of engineering excellence and knowledge sharing.
Guide the career development of team members and lead technical discussions and learning sessions.
Review and provide feedback on technical approaches to maintain high engineering standards.
Lead the development of complex ML systems and architectures, optimizing model performance and efficiency.
Establish frameworks for model evaluation and validation, ensuring production readiness and system reliability.
Architect scalable ML solutions to drive improvements in development and deployment processes.
Requirements:
Candidates must hold an MS or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
A minimum of 8 years of experience in Machine Learning/AI is required, with deep expertise in computer vision and deep learning.
Proven track record of leading successful ML projects and experience mentoring engineers while driving technical excellence is essential.
Expert knowledge of computer vision and multimodal architectures is necessary, along with a deep understanding of ML system design and scalability.
Strong programming skills in Python and modern ML frameworks are required, as well as extensive experience with production ML systems.
Candidates must demonstrate the ability to solve complex technical challenges and have a strong background in performance optimization.
Demonstrated ability to mentor and grow engineers, with a strong track record of driving technical decisions and excellence in technical communication and documentation.
Experience leading architectural discussions and the ability to influence and drive consensus are also required.
