Description:

  • As a Staff Software Engineer, AI, you will design, build, and maintain AI-powered enterprise applications, focusing on an AI-powered contract review application called Screens.
  • You will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers to deliver innovative software solutions that address high-stakes problems for customers.
  • Responsibilities include integrating and optimizing commercial and open-source LLM APIs, evaluating and implementing RAG pipelines, and enhancing internal AI developer tools.
  • You will also lead efforts to establish AI engineering best practices and troubleshoot complex issues across the AI and application stack.

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent experience is required.
  • A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience as a software engineer, with at least 3+ years of applied AI/ML experience is necessary.
  • Proven experience integrating commercial LLM APIs such as OpenAI or Anthropic into modern software applications is essential.
  • Strong knowledge of building cloud-native applications using serverless technologies like API Gateway and Lambda is required.
  • A deep understanding of AI model evaluation, prompt engineering, and RAG techniques is necessary.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a solid understanding of system architecture and performance optimization are required.
  • Familiarity with AI agent frameworks and evaluation methodologies is important.
  • Hands-on experience with RAG-based systems and AI evaluation pipelines is necessary.
  • Excellent collaboration, teamwork, and communication skills are required.
  • An eagerness to stay updated with the latest AI advancements is essential.
