Remote Staff Software Engineer, Backend (Remote)

Description:

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 8+ years of backend focused experience in application programming.
• Strong working experience with Java and/or Scala in developing API services is required.
• Experience in writing SQL queries is necessary.
• Additional experience in Python, C++, or C# is a plus.
• A strong foundation in computer science, including data structures and asynchronous programming, is essential.
• Candidates should have a disciplined approach to test writing.
• Experience in reading and understanding complex enterprise-grade code and suggesting improvements is required.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a high-growth environment are necessary.
• Candidates must be comfortable with ambiguity and able to take initiative when required.
• A BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience is required.
