Description:
The Tech Lead Frontend Software Engineer position at Gympass involves leading an agile full-stack engineering team.
The role requires driving the frontend architecture using state-of-the-art technologies and methodologies.
The Tech Lead will advocate for new techniques within the team and collaborate with other leads to tackle new features and tech debt.
Responsibilities include writing and reviewing code and tests, pair programming, helping and mentoring other developers, and contributing to RFCs.

Requirements:
Expertise in front-end technologies, specifically React and Typescript.
Deep knowledge of how JS engines work and aggregation services like BFF architecture.
Understanding of GraphQL and experience in designing and developing its schema.
Proficiency in CSS technologies and CSS-in-JS technologies such as styled-components and emotion.
Experience in creating build tasks using tools like webpack and vite.
Familiarity with various testing methodologies including unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
Ability to stay updated with industry trends and suggest adoption strategies.
Capability to outline long-term plans for the codebase and belief in automation.
Strong communication skills in English/Portuguese to interact with technical and non-technical individuals.
Background in working with and developing design systems for multiple teams.
Problem-solving skills using critical and analytical thinking, and a data-driven decision-making approach.
